Wow, a post without mini embroideries!  AMAZING ;)

I made some Snickerdoodle cupcakes.  I follow this blog called A Beautiful Mess.  It's Elsie Flannagan's blog.  She's awesome, and she and her sister are in business together with a vintage/handmade store and bakery.  Her sister is a cupcake genius.  So, I've been reading up on the different cupcakes she's trying out for their grand opening.  When I read she did Snickerdoodle cupcakes, I had to try for myself.  I took the recipe for plain white cake from allrecipes.com and added a bunch of cinnamon and extra vanilla.

Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1.5 cups flour
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).  In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth. Pour or spoon batter into cupcake tins  Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in comes out clean.

I topped the cupcakes with vanilla icing and sprinkled some cinnamon on.  They are AMAZING.  Yummmm.
