And bows!

I've been making more bows.  They are a little uneven and wonky and at first, I was irritated, but I dunno... it kind of gives them character. I'd wear every damned one of these.  I used $1 fat quarters for most of these.

And rings!

I made some covered buttons and thought they may make some cute rings.

And here, of course, is one made from dollhouse miniatures again.

Soapy love!

I have been making tons of soap.  I knew I said I was giving it up, but I lied.  I found some really nice soap molds to use and also, I saw an idea where you can use rubber bands shaped like various things in your soap.  I thought I'd try it.

I used silicone ice cube trays for these.  They are too easy to make!

I Do The Weird Stuff

I stitched this up over the past week!  I like it, but it's uneven, and that makes me a little sad.  I need to fix the pattern. I made it for Haylan's birthday.  Inspired by Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.

Rings and Things

I love putting miniatures on hair clips or rings. I wish more people appreciated my artistry.

And here are some more bows.

Elephant Stitch

Allen's mom loves elephants, and I wanted to make her a little gift, so I stitched this up from Mrs. Wooly's Cross Stitch book that someone gave me as a gift.  It's so cute!

Best Day Ever

My boss is always saying, sarcastically "Best day ever!"  This is my homage to her.

I created this from a cross stitch alphabet generator I found online:

Fun with Felt

I decided to try my  hand at making some little cute felt things.  I could make broaches, patches, or hair clips.  I got all of these little patterns from the Sew Cute Stuff book I got last year.  The last ones are just  word bubbles anyone can draw up.  I need to find some nicer felt because the stuff you get at Hobby Lobby and Michael's is all thin and crappy.

Be gentle... I'm very new at this.
