The Witchy Stitcher Cryptid Stitch-Along: The Flatwoods Monster

We had a cold front come in on Saturday so it was nice and cool this morning and will only get up into the 60s this afternoon.  How nice!

This past weekend, my parents had their annual Big Bash.  It's a joint birthday party for my mom and a couple of her friends who have birthdays around the first of April.  They have it catered and hire a band and people also bring food, potluck style, and booze.  It's always great fun!  My friends from childhood Chris and Brandy  came, and my sister's child hood best friend Becca also joined us.  I think we came home around 9:30  because we're old lol.

I finished another cryptid from The Witchy Stitcher's Cryptid Stitch-along. The Flatwoods Monster is "a cryptid from a widely-known encounter in Flatwoods, VA where seven residents claimed to see a 10-foot-tall creature with a spade-shaped, red head, glowing green eyes, and a dark, metallic suit after a bright object streaked across the sky and landed on a nearby hill. Witnesses reported the creature hissed, moved erratically, and caused a foul, sulfuric smell, along with nausea and other symptoms. While the incident is a famous piece of West Virginia folklore and attracts tourists to the Flatwoods Monster Museum, scientific explanations for the sightings suggest it was likely a misidentified object, such as a meteor, and a common barn owl."

What??  BARN OWL?  I... don't think so.
