Hello hello! I'm here with another installment of cross stitch, because that's basically all I have been doing of late. Honestly, it helps me relax and keeps be distracted from the horrors going on in this world. It also just makes me feel sort of cozy, even though we're in summer and it's hot as balls. I can't wait to be in CO with cooler temps!
Yes, I know it gets hot in CO, but not as hot as here, and Pueblo is not humid, so that will probably be very nice, and there are SEASONS! I have also been looking at the weather and it looks like it's chilly in the mornings and evenings, which is nice. It's still in the fucking 90s here at 8 PM. UGH.
I did this Tarot card one from The Bad Witch Crafts. I think she may have also done the stitcher "card" I stitched up earlier this year too.

I cannot believe it is already June. This year has flown. But it's been great, really. I had a rough first couple of months, but I have learned how to protect my peace and find joy in everyday, small, little things. "It is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life,"
This past Saturday, I went to get my oil changed. I took my cross stitch and my Kindle, and sat in the lobby for a little bit. A nice lady asked me about my cross stitching and we talked about hobbies for a little bit. I was floored that she didn't know what cross stitching was.
I also went to Stella’s bakery for the first time. It’s so cute. It reminds me of a French bakery, and they have a lot of French style things there. Their pastries are gorgeous. I got a croissant and a cappuccino and worked on my cross stitch some more. Then I felt weird about being the only one in there, and in there for so long, so I left.
I went to Lowe’s and got a copy of the front door key for Mom and Dad. I also picked out a lovely basil to come back and buy later. Then I had Tex-Mex for lunch and it was LOVELY. Then I went out to the Polk County Pagan Market. They have been getting A LOT of threats and people have been trying to block people from getting into the space. I hate everything currently. Luckily, for some reason, there was no drama at this one! No one shouting abuse at us through megaphones and no one trying to block anyone's way to enter. I was so happy. I just walked around a bit and bought a few small things. I am so happy that the markets are going, regardless of idiots trying to stop people from enjoying life.
