Cards and Gifts

Why is everyone's fucking birthday in December?? My sister, my grandparents, my friend Liz... I guess I should make them cards.  Also here are a few Xmas gifts I have completed.  I sadly did not get a picture of my sister's card, somehow...

 
For Liz.  This is the first time that I have made a card with embroidery.  It's pretty easy.  The bird is from the Sublime Stitching Embroidered Effects book.

For my dad who loves John Deere tractors (his bday was in November, but I won't see him until Christmas).  I did a random search for tractor embroidery and found this one:

This is for my friend Stephanie. I did a portrait of her in the style of the Red Velvet Art girls:

This is on an apron I did for my friend Brandi who is one of those people who rides her bike everywhere.  I think it's cute, and I wish I could do that here. It's also from a Red Velvet Art pattern.

Here is an apron I did for my friend Liz, who likes tattoos and baking. I found the pattern a while back while doing a search for embroidery patterns:

Here's one for my friend Chris, who is Liz's boyfriend. He's also my tattoo artist. He likes random weird stuff put together, like a unicorn swearing to a pegasus about Europe. The unicorn and pegasus is a Badbird pattern, and I found the funny quote on Stephanie Tillman's Flickr page, but I preferred these guys to the ants in the original pattern.
