Stitchy Gifts 2022

Here are some of the stitchy gifts I gave this year! I hope I have not posted these already... This one is from Subversive Cross Stitching. I gave it to Anan and she LOVED it. I knew she would :)
I gave this one to Eric. It's a Scottish well-wish. Pattern is by SikaStitch on Etsy.
This one I gave to Haylan. She saw the purple one I did and loved it so much and so of course I had to do Halloween colors for the Queen of Halloween!
Here's to another year of stitching!

Stitchmas Past- 2019 Edition

Christmas is fast approaching!  Here are some ghosts from Stichmas past...

I know I posted the Ermahgerd one before, but I don't think I have posted the others.  The one of the left is a snow globe for which I used Etoile floss but of course, you can't see it.  I made it for my Granny and Grandad.  They are now gone but my Mom always hangs it on her tree.

The middle one is one I made for my mom.  And the other one is a repeat of Ermahgerd Ernamernts that I made for my sister!  These were all done in 2019.

The Witchy Stitcher Cryptid Stitch-Along: The Jersey Devil

The Jersey Devil is a creature dwelling in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey.  Legend has it that in 1735, a witch named Mother Leeds gave birth to a horrifying monster with glowing red eyes that flew up the chimney of her home and disappeared into the Pine Barrens.  It is often described as a kangaroo-like creature having hooves, horns, a forked tail, bat wings, and a head that looks something like a horse.  Its screams are said to be quite chilling.  Belief in the Jersey Devil is quite real and based on records of concrete occurrences.  To this day, people traveling down the Garden State Parkway or the Atlantic City Expressway report sightings and tell stories of strange occurrences.  Many continue to believe that the legendary being is still around disturbing the region and will continue to do so for generations to come.- The Witchy Stitcher, Cryptid Wiki, Pine Lands Alliance
