Recent Projects

 I have been pretty busy in general lately and haven't spent a lot of time on crafts, but that's about to change.  I have some cross stitch patterns lined up to do, so I will be working on those as well as the diamond painting Allen got me in February.  Here it is almost April and I haven't even finished the bottom row!  I feel sort of bad because I don't want him to think I don't like it or want to do it, because I do!  I just haven't been doing a lot of crafts. 

I made some fun little perler bead guys a couple of weeks ago.  

I finished this diamond painting box.  In the pic, you can see two missing gems that slid off when I sealed it, but I have since corrected that.  I just don't have a pic. 

And finally, a cross stitch!  This one was a quick finish and the pattern is by Stitch Sprout. 

I also sort of finished this one by Gilded Moth Patterns on Etsy.  I say sort of finished because I didn't do the border.  I wasn't really in the headspace to have started this one anyway for some reason.  It's a great pattern and it was easy to follow but somehow, I messed it up somewhere and I couldn't figure out where, so the border would have been off.  THEN when I used a lint roller to get the fuzz off of the black aida (I HATE BLACK AIDA), it left marks so I'm sort of mad about it.  However, I still think it came out REALLY cute and if I ever frame it, I can probably cover up or cut the marks off of the fabric.  Again, I love the pattern so much and it was easy to follow but I had to be extra and use black aida...
