I am on a roll today. I got SO MUCH done!!! Here is the last of what is finished today. I have some resin currently casting, but I won't be making anything out of it. I'm just testing some molds, and they're not in the least bit cool enough to make a necklace. One is a peanut butter cup mold and the other is a funky starfish thing. BUT, I did get these done, AT LAST!!
Here are my cassette cupcake toppers.

Onesies and a Pillow
Here are some new additions that I did recently.
This one is inspired by Red Velvet Art. The camera is from one of their patterns (they have completely rebranded because, as most artists do, they grew out of kitschy little art like this, but I have not). The writing is my handwriting.
Here's a pillow I made for my friend Lori's little boy. He likes #10 on the University of Texas baseball team.
That's all I have for now!
I drew these trees and used the houses from the Black Apple/Sublime Stitching patterns.

Bibs
Here are some bibs I made. I just need to get them ironed and they'll be ready to go. I'm selling these to people, doing them for friends (apparently mine are trying to overpopulate the earth or create little armies), and at Moxie.
I created the cake pattern below. I can't remember where I got the elephant pattern, but I traced the whale from something I had here and just added the big polka dots. The cupcakes are inspired by Red Velvet Art.

So Fuck Soap Making
I am becoming a little disenchanted with making soap. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I have a book, and I am following the instructions exactly, but still cannot manage to make decent soap.
I have made some cute soap, but it took three to four tries to do some of it, and I just simply do not have the time and patience to keep at it. I guess I can stick with the soap I've already done, but the wanting to learn more side of me won't let me. Then, when I try something new, I always come out with something that looks like it could be cool, if it weren't for weird chunks randomly floating in the soap in the most inopportune places.
This is the best looking one of the batch, too. Do you see the whitish looking stuff in the foreground? I have no clue why it's white. This is clear soap, and the colored parts are also made of clear. Grrr. I did manage to make some cute ones, though.
See? This defies all sense. The colored parts of these ones are made of white soap base. However, you don't see the whitish bits that you see in the first picture. Hm. Maybe I should just stick with these guys. They're sparkly and pretty in real life!
I don't think this is a hobby I will continue with, sadly.

APPROVED!
I just got an email telling me I was approved for the Sublime Stitching licensing I applied for! This means I can sell things I make with Sublime Stitching patterns. I don't think Jenny Hart knows what she's gotten herself into. haha!
It's really a great opportunity for me, I'm very excited to get started!

Kurt Halsey x Sublime Stitching
I love sharing my hobbies with my friends. Currently, I have no friends who do any sort of embroidery. However, I plan to change that! I have a couple of friends who are interested in learning, and I am excited to teach them.
Lynda came by last week and we stitched some things together. She did a pretty good job. I wish I had a picture of hers. But you will have to settle for a picture of the one I did and gave to her. It's a Kurt Halsey x Sublime Stitching pattern and I think it's so sweet. I can see it stitched up for a baby's room or on a little t-shirt or onesie.
