Beep Beep

Here are a couple of things I made today.

This was a request from someone to put on her GPS case.

And here is the final embroidery for my kitchen!

That's all I have for now.  I'm working on a pillow that I should finish soon, though!

  1. Great job! I like the embroidery for your kitchen and the hamburger one too. I bet you have the cutest kitchen.

Yes, Asahi Imports is in Austin. It is at 6105 Burnet Road Telephone # 512-453-1850. The store is fun to look at, but some things are a bit expensive because they are imported. I found their greeting cards very cool, they have tiny lucky cats, and the chocolate covered macadamia nuts are delicious!! (That is what we got.) lol

I framed and matted the Japanese card I got and put it above my computer desk.

What part of Austin do you live in? We live in the Domain area.

P.S. The car is great too!

  2. Thanks so much, Michelle! I like the car, too. The person I made it for has requested some changes, though, so I'm gonna keep it for myself. I dunno what I'll do with him. Maybe make a barrette.

I'm totally going to Asahi imports, either tomorrow or Saturday. I know where it's at, I've been around there several times but never noticed it.

I love The Domain. That place is really cool. I love to go there and just look around. I love that huge Forever 21 store and Sur la Table. I could spend copious amounts of money at either store. We live where I35 and 183 intersect. It's not the most glamorous part of town, but it's like a 7-10 minute drive downtown, so we like it.

  3. I hope you like the store. The little lucky cats are underneath the cranes and fish hanging from the ceiling at Asahi imports.

We live in normal apartments (The Verano) but reasonably priced, off Burnet, close to IBM. I have only been to the Domain shopping area one time so far, but it is a very pretty area. I would like to visit the Forever 21 and the Sur la Table store and also check out Borders. I will check them out. I am new to Austin, so I get confused fairly easily. LOL I am happy to have a blog friend in Austin with so many common interests.
The car would be cute as a barrette or even on a bag maybe.

  4. Yeah, I make TONS of hair things. I rarely wear most of them, but I like to make them. I think that car needs in my hair, though.
